Eight months later

As you can tell, this blog has been a big hit. Im not even sure what I intended to do with this when I first started, but thinking back to the “blogger” days of yore, I tended to post a lot of the stupid stuff I did with my time. Maybe so when I’m an old and bitter man caressing a sawed off 12 guage while sitting in a rocking chair and yelling at the youngin’s bout their confound rascally behavior, Id have some stories to torture them with in order to have some leeway in negotiating an armistice on my nap/their play time.

On that note, I will argue that this blog is worth more than the single post between now and this blogs inception (which was actually much longer then 7 months ago). There has been much more time invested into this project. The process goes as so, first start working on X project, and allow my mind to wander on to life’s most important subjects like ending world hunger. I believe the conversation goes something like this:

“Wait a minute, Im kind of hungry. Maybe Ill get something from the fridge. Dang it, everything’s my roommates. Maybe I should order out, but that would require time and money, and I should probably spend that time working on my project. Why the heck can I focus on wanting to focus, but not actually focus? It must have been poor choices I made previously in my life. Maybe it’s not my fault, let me blame it on experiences beyond my control. Dang it, that doesnt work, I hate determinism. Speaking of determinism…”

Essentially I end up on something which inspires me to write a draft, and so I type out a blurb of incoherent thoughts and figure Ill turn it into something readable later. Weeks later I log on and realize how much I really suck at writing, and delete the draft I created. The point (as if anything I ever say has one)? Do not be fooled by the appearances of this webpage. In addition to a single post, this page has hours of pointless procrastination stock piled into it. But consistency is so monotonous. So in an effort to spice things up (or so much as much as an internet nerd can do anything considered spicy), I submit to my audience a.k.a. myself a newly published post!
